One company built around four divisions, delivering electrical, renewables, construction and garden rooms across Sussex, Surrey and the wider South East.
The Cruise Limited Group didn't start as a group. It started in 2016 as Cruise Electrical, a team of NICEIC electricians doing rewires, fault-finding and the everyday work that keeps Sussex and Surrey homes running.
What changed things was what clients kept asking for. An electrician on site to fit a consumer unit would get asked about solar. A solar job would turn into 'can you add a battery and an EV charger'. A rewire during a renovation would become 'do you know anyone who does the building work too', and the honest answer was that the builders we'd have recommended were the bottleneck, not us. So rather than keep handing clients over and hoping it went well, we brought each trade in-house.
Renewables came first, sitting naturally next to the electrical work. Then garden rooms, because a well-built studio is really a small building with proper wiring, and we were already doing the hard part. Then construction: extensions, refurbs and groundworks, the jobs that pull every other trade together.
Today that's four divisions under one roof, but the point of it is simple. One estimator prices the whole project. One project lead runs it. One invoice at the end. Our own teams do the work, so when something needs sorting, there's nobody to point the finger at. We're still hands-on, still local, and still run by the people who started it.
I'm Nick McCulloch, Managing Director of Cruise Limited Group (TCLG). I've always been hands-on, and that's still how I run the group today, staying close to the work, the people, and the detail that makes the difference.
TCLG is built around four core divisions, Cruise Electrical, Cruise Renewables, Cruise Construction, and Cruise Garden Rooms, each delivering its own expertise while working together as one complete service.
For me, it's about doing things properly. Building a strong team, creating systems that work, and growing a business that's known for quality, reliability, and long-term value, not quick wins.
